Hello fellow Readers!!! Its Raf again!!This will be my last post on Gollumns Corner! For my last post I would like to commemorate all of my previous posts, as well as reflecting my time while writing posts for all of you. It has been a pleasure to write for all of you. I can still recall my first post about the website review on lotr.fandom. I was and still am very fond of that website mainly because of all the features it provides. I think the website is very well done, and is very successful. To think that that site was started in 2005, and is still being used today is astonishing.
My second post of Gollum's Corner was about a very interactive website called LordoftheRings.org. The creation of discussion amongst the fans of LOTR, was a success. I loved the amount of topics that were discussed on the chat page. Not only did this website have this interactivity feature, but I recall the site having a store where you can by action figures too!! I would say this website is definitely one I will be checking up on from time to time, and you should too!
This Lord of the Rings universe is massive. The series has hundreds of characters and locations that making a map would be nearly impossible. However, one website would not only succeed in bringing us fans a map, but a very detailed, extensive map of the entire universe. I was very impressed by the map. I would say this blog post was my clear favorite to write about. Looking at the scale of the world on my computer made me aware of locations I didn't even know existed. I also learned about different paths characters took on journeys of theirs. It's a completely different experience with the series to be able to see every action taken on a single webpage. Every fan should see this map, and I was happy to help make this happen in any way possible.
Over my time writing blogs on Lord of the Rings content, I would say it has been difficult at times. Blog writers must be very creative with their word choice in order to hold the attention of readers. I found this to be difficult however, I felt i´ve gotten better since the first day I posted. I ́m not sure if I see myself writing blogs in the future, however I enjoyed all the content I discovered on the series. I feel I ́ve learned a significant amount of information compared to when I first started. I hope all of you learned more about the series along with me!! This is Raf signing off!!
