One of great aspects that are great about this video is the author gives the viewer information on Tolkein. For example, did you know that Tolkein spoke 10 languages! And he also loved history and was very inspired by Beowulf. Watching this video has made me realize how innfluential he was in the fiction world. He highly inspired others to make fictional worlds and to develop them, like Harry Potter or Marvel series.
However, one of the problems with the video it fails to inform the viewer the innfluence of C.S Lewis and how they would meet at The Eagle and The Child. Attached below is a photo of the pub where they would meet weekly. It is very interesting! A group called the Inklings is where young thinkers would meet together and discuss philosophical ideas. It was believed that is was the alcohol that encouraged new ideas.
